Good to Know

- If we don’t have your original unit: we will try our best to supply a unit with your original program on it, or failing that another unit with a different program under the same part number. In most cases we can read the original program off your unit. If a different program is used, the truck may show a red warning on first connection, “Driving and braking characteristics changed” (4CF0ED). This is expected. The unit learns its calibration after some driving and the warning should clear. Any other fault, or one that does not clear, should be reported to us.
- Exchange eligibility: Autolectronix reserves the right to decline a unit for exchange based on its condition, for example if it has had prior work by another repairer or is beyond repair. Units are assessed case by case, and if we decline we will quote an outright sale unit.
