Welcome to Autolectronix (Pty) Ltd.

By requesting diagnostics, repairs, refurbishment services, purchasing products, participating in our Service Exchange Programme, using Loan Units, applying for credit facilities, or otherwise engaging with Autolectronix, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Autolectronix

Autolectronix specialises in the repair, refurbishment, testing, and supply of electronic modules and related components for:

  • Commercial trucks

  • Buses

  • Construction equipment

  • Mining machinery

  • Agricultural equipment

We do not service electronic modules used in light passenger vehicles.

Many of our products consist of professionally refurbished electronic modules that may contain restored components and may show cosmetic wear while remaining fully functional.

2. Diagnostics and Repairs

Initial Assessment

We provide a preliminary assessment, which may include:

  • Fault-code scanning

  • Wiring inspections

  • Visual Printed Circuit Board (PCB) inspections

Advanced Diagnostics

Where advanced testing or bench testing is required, we will provide a quotation before proceeding.

Advanced diagnostic fees are typically between:

R500 to R2,000

These fees are waived if you approve the recommended repair or replacement.

Important Diagnostic Notice

Diagnostics and repairs are performed on a first-fault-found basis. Additional faults may only become apparent after initial repairs have been completed and may require additional quotations and approval.

Data and Software

Repairs may require software resets, updates, reprogramming, or reinitialisation.

Autolectronix cannot be held responsible for data loss unless:

  • Data preservation has been specifically requested in writing, and

  • Data transfer or cloning services have been quoted for and authorised.

3. Refurbishment and Replacement Parts

Repairs may be completed using:

  • New components

  • Approved aftermarket components

  • Tested refurbished components

  • 3D-printed replacement parts

Removed components become the property of Autolectronix unless their return is requested in writing before work begins.

Estimated turnaround times are generally 1 to 3 business days but are not guaranteed.

4. Service Exchange Programme

Our Service Exchange Programme reduces vehicle downtime by providing a pre-tested refurbished replacement module in exchange for your faulty module.

To qualify for a full core refund, returned units must:

  • Match the supplied replacement unit
